Dinosaurs!

This half term Reception have been exploring the topic of 'Dinosaurs'. The children have been 'Dinosaur Explorers' finding fossils, using the role play area and reading fiction and non fiction books all about dinosaurs.

The children have particularly enjoyed reading our Talk 4 Writing book 'Am I Yours?' by Alex Latimer. The book shows the journey of a lost egg as he describes his dinosaur features to find his parents. After literacy lessons the children have been taking the book into the Role Play Area and retelling the story to each other.
