And Tango Makes Three

In our WOW lesson, 3CS have been learning about different families. We used a book by Justin Richardson and Peter Parnell called ‘And Tango Makes Three’ to support our understanding of different families. This book is about two male penguins who adopt a chick penguin and raise her as their own. After our class discussion we wrote book reviews to show our understanding of what message the book gives us and what different families can look like. 

Lily - "It doesn't matter what your family looks like, it matters that they love you.”

Freddie - "It’s ok to have different families.”
